At TAKE Surf School El Palmar our aim is to transmit to our students the passion we feel for this sport. We do not only want to give you a lesson. We want you to get the full surf experience and learn to surf for real. Our commitment is to make this process as fun as possible. Every student is important for us and we adapt our teaching methods to the abilities of each student. Professionalism, confidence and safety are the foundations on which to build a good surfing technique, so whatever your level, our aim is that you finish the class advancing, learning and above all enjoying the experience.

AT THE BEACHFRONT
Our surf school in El Palmar is located on the beachfront of the best surf spot in Andalusia. The weather and the quality and consistency of the waves make it the ideal place to learn to surf in Spain. Besides that we have more than 300 days of sunshine per year.
SURF SCHOOL EL PALMAR AND CONIL
TAKE Surf School El Palmar has a second location where you can take your surf lessons and rent surfboards. Conil de la Frontera, another surf spot that offers high quality waves during the winter season.
TRANSFERS INCLUDED
We are always looking for the perfect wave, that’s why we go to Barbate, Conil de la Frontera or even Marbella in search of the best conditions for you.
HIGH-END MATERIAL
All the equipment of our school is high-end and included in the price of the lessons. Our Wetsuits and Lycras are made by HURLEY and our softboards by MOBYK. If you have a more advanced level, we have hardboards in El Palmar, Fiber boards, evolutionary boards and 6 feet softboards to evolve in your surfing.
SURF nerds and multilingual classes
We are surf nerds! We have surfed the waves of the world and together we offer decades of experience on waves and as surf instructors. At TAKE Surfschool El Palmar all instructors have a ENS 1 trainer license. We offer classes in Spanish, Englisch and French. (Contact us if you wish to receive a lesson in another language).
Surfschool EL Palmar & Surf Hostel CONIL
TAKE Hostel is located in Conil de la Frontera, only 100m from the beach. Between the surfschool in El Palmar and the Hostel in Conil we offer shuttles. We are one of the first eco-friendly hostels in Spain, certified with Eco Label©.
STAY WITH US!
Our Surf Hostel is the perfect mix between a hotel and a hostel. We offer private rooms and single beds for individual travelers. You can stay a night, weeks, a month or as long as you like. Thanks to our innovative Pod bed concept you will experience maximum privacy even in the dorms. We have a fully equipped community kitchen, cosy common rooms and a coworking space with high speed wifi.
